The Best Way to Keep Mice & Other Unwanted Wildlife Out of Your House

Not only is your home an important investment, but it should be a haven for you and your family, too.

We know you don’t want mice and other wild animals intruding on your space, damaging your home, and exposing your family to disease. Trapping and removing unwanted animal intruders, while effective, is just the beginning of a true wildlife-control remedy, though. You need to be sure the same problems don’t arise again.

Knowing the types of obstacles people run into every day when it comes to mice and other wildlife getting inside places they shouldn’t be, we wanted to offer a permanent solution. That’s why we spent years developing our signature Cat-Guard Exclusion Systems for pest exclusion and wildlife control. This all-natural approach to sealing your home from rodents and other wildlife invaders will protect you and your family for years to come.

It's safe, it's permanent, and it's patented by the professionals at Catseye Pest Control.

What are Cat-Guard Exclusion Systems?

Cat-Guard Exclusion Systems are a permanent pest-exclusion feature that protects homes and other structures from being taken over by nuisance wildlife like mice by using long-term solutions like full home seal-ups.

Cat-Guard Exclusion Systems consist of three parts:

Trench-Guard Wildlife Barrier

Trench-Guard Wildlife Barrier is the underground component of Cat-Guard Exclusion Systems that ensures sometimes-forgotten-about structures like your deck, shed, and other low-clearance areas around your home are protected from wildlife, especially burrowing animals like chipmunks, woodchucks, skunks, rats, and mice.

We use underground trenching and a rigid permanent barrier to prevent nuisance wildlife from digging under these structures and potentially causing damage. We make sure we properly protect your home from the ground up, and it begins with the Trench-Guard nuisance wildlife barrier.

Lower Cat-Guard Wildlife Barrier

The Lower Cat-Guard Wildlife Barrier is the first floor’s main line of defense. From the first-floor windows down to the ground, Lower Cat-Guard ensures there are no openings for critters to make their way into your home or other structure.

Our Cat-Guard Exclusion Team uses premium metal to seal-up the entire area where the home meets the foundation. Any visible holes are filled in, including holes in the foundation, gaps in siding, J-channel, and window trim, as well as corner posts. This ensures there are no ways for wildlife to get into the lower-half of the home, especially when paired with Trench-Guard.

Upper Cat-Guard Wildlife Barrier

From the top of the first-floor windows to the peak of the roof, Upper Cat-Guard shields your home from rodents, bats, and other nuisance wildlife that may find their way inside through the upper-part of the structure.

Our Cat-Guard Exclusion Team will replace and/or seal soffit and fascia with high-performance metal while also sealing ridge vents and any other gaps that could let pests in between the first floor and the top of the home.

How Cat-Guard Works

Wildlife Makes its Way Inside, Usually Causing Damage

It doesn’t take long for wildlife to make your house their home — and cause extensive damage.

They gnaw on wood and siding and, in the case of mice, rats, and other rodents, chew on electrical cords, causing appliances to stop working and creating fire hazards. Animals soil insulation, wood, and siding with droppings and urine. Some animals, like mice and rats, can get into your food products and contaminate them with their droppings and bacteria carried on their bodies. Animal droppings within your home can expose your family to disease. Some animals have the ability to transmit rabies and other viruses. Wildlife infested with ticks, mites, or fleas can bring additional pests into your home.

Once you know you have unwanted wildlife in your home, you know you have a problem. That’s where Catseye comes in.
